Our cosy sewing shop in Chapel‑en‑le‑Frith is a welcoming, hands‑on space filled with beautiful fabrics, quality tools, and friendly advice from a professional dressmaker. Dressmaking Fabrics
We offer a varied range of specially priced fabrics in a mix of types, weights, widths, colours and patterns.
Interfacings
G700, H180, S320, plus a selection of woven and non‑woven interfacings for structure and support.
Threads
We have a range of Gutermann threads as well as a selection of embroidery threads.
Needles
We stock Schmetz machine needles in Universal, Microtex, Stretch, Jersey, Denim, Embroidery and Topstitch, along with John James hand‑sewing needles and a selection of budget‑friendly options — everything you need for both machine and hand stitching.
Zips & Fastenings
Invisible zips, standard dress zips, metal zips, elastic, poppers, hooks & bars, bias binding — plus a beautifully broad range of buttons in a variety of colours, sizes and styles.
Trims
A lovely selection of trims including satin piping, plain piping, bias binding, and delicate Broderie Anglaise trims — perfect for adding detail to garments, home décor and children’s wear.
Tools & Notions
Scissors, rotary cutters, chalk, clips, rulers, unpickers, tape measures, pins, marking tools, bobbins, machine needles and more.
Little Gifts for Sewists

Directions
From Whaley Bridge: On entering Chapel, as soon as you see a railway bridge crossing the road, turn left just before the bridge.
From the A6 Bypass: Once past Morrisons, follow the main street through Chapel, as soon as you see a railway bridge crossing the road, turn right immediately after the bridge.
Once at the end of Midland Road, go straight over the crossroads and follow the signs.
Please use Midland Rd in Maps and not the postcode.
