Absolute Beginners

Would you like to learn how to sew? If so, this is the class for you. The class begins at the most basic level; learning how to thread up a machine, the ins and outs of the machine and fabric.
Culminating in creating two projects to take home; envelope cushion cover and zip pouch. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Dressmaking for Beginners

This class is the ideal follow on from our Absolute Beginners class. During this class you will learn the basics of dressmaking from using a pattern, choosing fabrics, different seam finishes and much more. Culminating in a final garment of either a pair of pyjama bottoms/shorts or a gathered skirt.
This dressmaking class is an ideal first sewing project for newbies or a great refresher for those long time sewists.

Dressmaking Improver - PJ Top or Blouse
£90.00
This class is all about improving your skills and learning some new techniques. We will cover darts, flat collars, buttonholes and more. Then at the end you get to go home with a finished project of either a PJ Top or The Seamwork Natalie blouse!
If you would like to use another similar pattern, please let me know. This class is all about improving your skill set and learning new techniques.

Clothing Alterations

Do you have items in your wardrobe that remain unworn due to minor adjustments needed or perhaps they need some repairs?
This clothing alteration class will equip you with the essential skills to alter or repair your garments. It is an excellent way to save money and extend the longevity of your clothing. You will learn techniques such as adjusting hems to modify the length of a garment, and altering seams to achieve a better fit if that is the adjustments you need.
