Absolute Beginners
£90.00
Would you like to learn how to sew? If so, this is the class for you. The class begins at the most basic level; learning how to thread up a machine, the ins and outs of the machine and fabric.
Culminating in creating two projects to take home; envelope cushion cover and zip pouch. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Dressmaking for Beginners
£90.00
This class is the ideal follow on from our Absolute Beginners class. During this class you will learn the basics of dressmaking from using a pattern, choosing fabrics, different seam finishes and much more. Culminating in a final garment of either a pair of pyjama bottoms/shorts or a gathered skirt.
This dressmaking class is an ideal first sewing project for newbies or a great refresher for those long time sewists.

Dressmaking Improver - PJ Top or Blouse
£90.00
This class is all about improving your skills and learning some new techniques. We will cover darts, flat collars, buttonholes and more. Then at the end you get to go home with a finished project of either a PJ Top or The Seamwork Natalie blouse!
If you would like to use another similar pattern, please let me know. This class is all about improving your skill set and learning new techniques.

Help to Sew

This class is for anyone that wants to step up their skills but needs a little help and advice. We will go through each step of your own pattern and fabric, learning as you go."
Not suitable for absolute beginners, must be able to work independently as it is not one on one tuition. Full days and half day workshops available.

Dressmaking Skills Builder

This workshop is designed to help you build confidence and master the core construction techniques that make your sewing neater, stronger, and more professional.
Across the session, you’ll learn six essential dressmaking skills, each demonstrated clearly with plenty of guided practice.
You’ll go home with a set of labelled samples you can refer back to for future projects.

Make a Shirt Dress
£140
Create a beautifully finished shirt dress in this focused two‑day workshop. You’ll work with one of our featured Seamwork patterns and we’ll provide the pattern, printed instructions, and fabric for your chosen design. Fabric can be selected from our online gallery, or you’re welcome to call in if you prefer to choose in person. Please note that all fabric must be chosen and prewashed before the workshop.

Beginners Dressmaking Course

This course is an ideal starting point for anyone who wants to start dressmaking. During this course you will learn a variety of techniques that you can use to continue your sewing journey.
During this course you will learn the basics of dressmaking from using a pattern, choosing fabrics, different seam finishes and much more. You will take home two finished garments from either a pair of pants or a skirt; and either a t-shirt or tank top.

Intro to Pattern Cutting Course - 12 Weeks
£320.00
Build a solid foundation in pattern cutting as you learn how to take accurate body measurements and draft your first set of basic blocks, including bodice, sleeve and skirt.
Over 12 weeks, you’ll be introduced to essential techniques such as dart placement, simple block adjustments and how pattern shapes relate to the body, giving you the skills to begin understanding and working with patterns confidently.

Golden Rosebuds Afterschool - First Stitches
£120 per 6 week block
First Stitches is a gentle, welcoming starting point for young creatives aged 8–14 (older or younger on request) who are completely new to sewing. This 6‑week block introduces children to the basics in a friendly, supportive environment where they can learn step by step and build confidence from the very beginning.
Across the block, students work on fun, achievable projects that help them discover the joy of sewing while learning essential early skills.

Golden Rosebuds Afterschool - Buds to Bloom
£120 per 6 week block
Golden Rosebuds: Bud to Bloom is the next step for young sewists aged 8–14 (older or younger on request) who are ready to grow their skills, stretch their creativity, and take on more exciting sewing challenges.
This friendly, confidence‑building club is perfect for children who have completed First Stitches or who already have some basic sewing experience. Students continue to learn at their own pace in a warm, mixed‑ability environment, with projects designed to help them “bloom” into more capable, independent makers.
From improving accuracy and control to exploring new techniques, every child is supported to develop their skills, imagination, and pride in what they create.
