Class Description
The classic slip dress is a timeless design that will always be in fashion. During this class we will make a bias-cut cowl neck slip dress. You can choose from wider straps or spaghetti straps.
The class includes the pattern with instructions showing you each step – making it easy for you to create gorgeous clothes you can be proud to say you made yourself.
- Cutting and sewing on the bias.
- All in one facing.
- Rouleau loops.
Is this course right for me?
This is class not suitable for those who haven’t already attended our absolute beginners sewing class or have some experience setting up a machine as we do not cover this as part of the class. It would be advantageous to have sewn at least one garment.
What do I need to bring?
You will need to bring along your choice of fabric (prewashed) which is included in the price, but must be collected earlier than the workshop so that it can be prewashed. You will also need a reel of matching thread or this can be purchased on the day.
Fabric requirements will be emailed to you upon booking.
What’s included?
- The pattern and instructions for you to take home.
- Fabric; You can bring your own fabric if you choose.
- Please ensure you have your fabric beforehand so it can be prewashed.
- Use of all tools and equipment.
