Class Description
Is your overlocker gathering dust? Bring it along and learn to use it! Or try one in the Sewing Room before you buy. In this class, you'll learn how to thread and sew with your overlocker.
I'll teach you various techniques and share useful tips. This class will boost your confidence in using your overlocker for different projects, especially sewing knit fabrics and finishing raw edges, giving your work a professional and durable finish.
Is this course right for me?
This class is suitable for beginners and for anyone who wants to demystify the magic overlocker.
What do I need to bring?
You will need to bring your machine with you as well as the thread, along with all the accessories and instruction manual. If you don’t yet own an overlocker you can try our studio machines before you commit.

Please check the dates carefully prior to booking. Once an order is placed it cannot be refunded.
If for any reason you are unable to attend please contact us and we will try to find someone to take your place. Golden Rose Sewing School is not contractually obliged to find a replacement but we can try to find someone as a gesture of good will. If this is not possible feel free to send a substitute. If you book a class for several days duration please make sure you can attend all days. Once made, a booking cannot be transferred to an alternative date.
All classes must be paid for in full either prior to the event or on the day of the event. If you have paid a deposit this is non-refundable.
Payment for the deposit can be made on the website. Payments for the remaining balance can be paid by bank transfer or by card at the school. We do not store or have access to your bank details. This is securely processed by Wix payments and Sumup.
In the unlikely event that a class is cancelled, we will attempt to give as much warning as possible. We will email you and phone you if you have provided us with a telephone number. We will refund your booking fee or transfer you to another class of the same value, space permitting. Unfortunately, we cannot accept responsibility for wasted travel cost.
